We're giving students the opportunity to look at celestial events and develop a love for astronomy and interest in fieldwork as an astronomer and other fields of science.
Leonids meteor showers
Expected to peak around 0h10 on 18 November, the Leonids showers will be best seen near the Leo constellation. Temperatures in the Scripps Ranch area are expected to be as low as 7 degrees— stay warm while stargazing!
